    Modibodi Review

I’ve been toying with the idea of trying something more environmentally friendly than non – reusable pads for a while, but it’s taken me a long time to figure out what I want to use and actually get around to buying them. I finally settled on Modibodi period pants and I am so pleased that I did! Warning – this entire post will be me talking about periods, and period pants! This review has not been sponsored in any way, shape or form. I researched a variety of companies and settled on Modibodi myself and purchased 3 pairs of pants from them. I went for 3 pairs of black Hi…

This year, I won’t be trying do achieve a new me or make resolutions. Instead I will try and make some intentions clear and hope that I can work towards a more intentional way of living. I must first start by saying that if you want to make resolutions and try to redefine who you are this year then I am not saying that you shouldn’t do that. I’m a firm believer in do what is right for you. I’ve come to…

    YALC 2019 Books

This post is going to showcase and look at the books I picked up at YALC a bit more in depth. I introduced all the books and talked about my experiences at YALC in an earlier blog post, but I thought it would be good to have a post show casing all the wonderful books I got at YALC! First of all, Luchia kindly gave me Other Words for Smoke by Sarah Maria Griffin, which I was able to get signed. I have also fallen IN LOVE with the book and with Sarah herself. YALC 2019

Hello! Sorry that it has been a while since I posted, life has been busy and blogging had to go on the back burner. However, being at YALC has refreshed my love of blogging and I have been inspired to sort my schedule out and get some writing done. It was a busy weekend, but I’ll try not to make this post TOO long! Friday I went to YALC for all 3 days again this year. This was my second visit to YALC, with my first vising being 2 years ago in 2017. I was able to meet up with my blogging gang, who I haven’t seen in person for…

    Where have you been?

Hello, I’m back! My last post was back at the end of October. That’s almost 6 months ago! I thought I’d hop on and do a quick post explaining where I went. I’d started putting so much effort into my blog, changing things up, organising things and then I just. Stopped. First of all, I’m a teacher, I teach Year 3 and am currently in my second year of teaching. This year has been hard, harder than last year for a variety of reasons but I suddenly stepped up from NQT to running the year group with very little support. Things are easier now and have settled which is a…
