Animal Crossing New Horizons Book Tag

The wonderful Becky and Angharad over at Two Book Thieves have created their own Book Tag based around Animal Crossing New Horizons. Please go and check out their original post as their answers are fantastic! As someone who is very new to the game, and who has firmly fallen deep into my love for it, I am very excited that I am in the first bunch of bloggers to be tagged in this. Even if you aren’t a fan of ACNH, this is still a fun tag to take part in!

Past Villager – Who is a character you found when you were younger that still has a place in your heart?

I’ve got to say Hermione Granger or Luna Lovegood. Despite everything that has gone on with the Harry Potter series, it truly set my love of reading alive and I really related to these two characters so they will always have a place in my heart!

Blather’s Blatherings – Recommend a historical fiction book that you think everybody should read.

Angharad didn’t do it, so I will. The Book Thief. Speaking of, I think it’s about time I re – read it again…

Celeste’s Wish – What is a future book release you wish you could read now?

Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Posten. I bloomin’ adore this series and I am very impatiently waiting for this one to be released!

Timmy and Tommy – What is your favourite sibling relationship in a book?

Ooh, this is quite a tricky one actually. I haven’t read that many books that I can think of with good sibling relationships! I love Sarah, Ruby, Feral, Sparrow, Minya and Lazlo. LOVE THEM ALL.

The Easter Bunny – A popular book character that you’re not a big fan of.

Prompts like this are always going to cause controversy! I must admit I didn’t really like Simon from ‘Simon Vs’ or Clary and Jace from the Mortal Instruments.

Nook’s Loans – An author you’d give all your money to.

I’d love to support lots of authors but Laini Taylor is an auto – buy author for me. I don’t have to know what her books are about, I just know I’ll love them when I read them.

The Sisters Able – What is your favourite fictional family (found or otherwise)?

The Weasley family!

It’s a C+ – What is a book trip that you don’t like that keeps popping up?

Love triangles, I hate them. Please stop!

The Wedding Camel – What is your favourite book set in a land far away from yours?

Ooh, I love the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series and Strange the Dreamer. Laini Taylor just describes places so beautifully and I would love to see the places she describes. Maybe I’ll go to Prague one day. The other places might be a bit trickier to get to…

What Would Dodos Do? – A fictional land you wish you could fly away to at any moment?

Ooh hard one as if we are being honest, I’d go anywhere nice! This is also very difficult to answer when a lot of the fictional places you read about are war – ravaged or experiencing lots of problems… I would love to visit Hogwarts and Hogsmede though.

I am tagging (if they’d like to do it!)
