Bookish Gift Guide

Now, before Christmas I had a great time buying items from each of these shops in the hopes of making a gift guide for Christmas. Whilst that didn’t happen, I didn’t want to miss out on the chance to shout out about these amazing shops. Also, please be aware that in light of the change to how Etsy are taking money from their shops, I will be updating in the near future if any of these shops decide to remove themselves from Etsy and sell through other platforms, I also did this out of my own money and have not been asked by any of these shops to promote them in any way! Also, please check carefully before ordering anything in the current climate, equally please support these shops in any way you can as times are tough at the moment!

Ash and Quill Candles – Who doesn’t love a good candle? My shelves are heaving with them and I always love lighting one in the evening to make the room nice and cozy. I bought the Cardan’s Tail candle from Ash and Quill and it smells INCREDIBLE. The smell is Black Cherry and it looks so good with the books! The candles are all soy and have clear details on their scent strength which is excellent for those who are sensitive to strong scents. The candle was a good size for it’s price and it arrived quickly and well – packaged. The wonderful Northern Plunder is also a rep for them so you can use her rep code North10 to get a discount.

Felfira Moon Designs – First off, Fiona is amazing and I love her (you should follow her on Twitter!) It is so clear to see how hard she works and the personalised note was such a lovely touch (I still have it pinned up!) When I saw she had this Toothless pin, I just knew I had to get it as he is one of my favourite characters – I squealed when I took it out of the packaging. The pin is well made, it was a good price and it arrived quickly. It is also clear the Fiona has made a clear effort to reduce her impact on the environment, it can be seen clearly in the photo!

Rosie Lea Tea – Anyone who knows me, knows that I love tea. I love a wide range of teas and I love trying new flavours (any recommendations, hit me up!) As soon as I saw this Hufflepuff inspired tea from Rosie Lea Tea, I just knew that I had to try it! The shop has an amazing range, it was certainly hard to choose just one. It smells and tastes incredible and it arrived quickly in biodegradable packaging.

Amelia kitchen candles – I just couldn’t settle on one candle and once I saw this Bookstagram candle I knew I needed it. It’s been used in a few of my recent Instagram photos and it smells AMAZING but the smell is not too overpowering. It is handmade and soy, it arrived quickly and was well packed to protect the candle. The shop has a good range and the price was good for the size of candle.

Ruthless heroines – Who doesn’t want a candle from a shop with that name? I saw Miss Honey, and as a teacher I just knew I had to get it. However, it was hard to choose from their vast range! This candle is also handmade and soy, it smells delicious. It is a smaller size so fits well with books on the shelves and it came it some lovely packaging.

Lovely Bookish – Look at this cute bunch of stickers, just perfect for bullet journaling if you do it! I personally don’t, but I do love stickers. It was such a good price for so many and they have a good range in the shop. They also do stunning bookmarks as well. The package arrived quickly and safely.

Literary Galaxy –   Jenn just paid such AMAZING attention to detail with her packaging here and the bookmark was just so beautifully made. The item was a good price, especially when you think about the sheer amount of hard work that will have gone into making this. It arrived really quickly and with a coupon too!

Let me know if there’s anything that you decide to get from these wonderful shops. Are there any other small businesses that you would like to shout out?
