Even though he is now a grown up, Neil still excitedly screams “whee!” as he gets to fly all the way to the Moon!

I was lucky enough to be sent this book as part of a blog tour so thank you Faye and thank you Authoright for sending me a copy.

This came at the perfect time as earlier on this year we had done a whole week on Space at school to celebrate the anniversary of the moon landing.

The children in my class absolutely loved this book, the pictures are bright and colourful and so child friendly. The children loved learning some more information about Neil Armstrong and by the end of the book they were all eagerly shouting ‘Whee!’ Every time I read it in the book!

It’s been popped into my book corner and has been borrowed lots ever since I put it in there. The children are often leaping in to ask someone if they can borrow it after them.

It’s always great to find a book that is fun and engaging but also helps teach children about events from the past!

All in all a big thumbs up from this teacher!
